Let me explain.

A long time ago, I started lecturing at my local university.  My brief was to pull together everything the students had learnt over their 4 years about learning difficulties in kids.  And I had 10 hours to do it.

Along the way, I discovered the students had all the puzzle pieces.

They just didn’t have the picture.

There’s nothing worse than that overwhelming lack of confidence when you feel like you’re guessing, blindly shoving pieces together.  And then trying to present it to the parent confidently, when it’s already breaking.

And that’s where The Wall Model comes in.

Bunty laid the foundations clearly and precisely in her book – Part I of The Wall!

I continuously used her book throughout my Sensory Integration journey, both for clarity and referencing especially during my protocol–  it really helped!   Although I’ve now completed my SI, my learning journey has not finished… it has just begun!   I can’t wait for Part 2, I will definitely need it!
